This one was over pretty quickly.

Roberto Hernandez allowed five singles and two walks in the first inning, as the Phillies quickly put themselves in a 4-0 hole. The Pirates would be able to cruise from there, as they dismantled the Phillies in an 8-2 win.

Hernandez would bounce back a bit after that miserable first, lasting 5 2/3 innings, but the Phillies would never be able to recover from the early deficit.

The Phillies would get their only runs of the game in the sixth, as they pulled within 5-2, but the Pirates would respond with  two in the seventh and one in the eighth to cruise past the Phillies 8-2.

In case this loss wasn't ugly enough, don't forget, the Phillies only managed two hits all game.

For who? My teammates. For what? To win.
