Shortstop J.P. Crawford recorded a 1-for-3 outing at the plate in Sunday's SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game at Great American Ball Park, notching an RBI single in the third to tie the game. Crawford, the Phillies' number one prospect according to MLB.com, started and hit second for the U.S. team in its 10-1 win over the World Team.

Crawford was joined on the U.S. Team by Aaron Nola, the Phillies' second ranked prospect according to MLB.com, though Nola did not appear after pitching on Friday.
The 20-year-old Crawford has hit .311 with a .415 OBP and .829 OPS across Class A Advanced and Double-A in 2015. In 39 games with Double-A Reading, Crawford is hitting .273 with a .378 OBP and 24 runs scored.

A 22-year-old right hander, Nola has compiled a 2.03 ERA in 17 starts this season in Double-A and Triple-A. Since being promoted to Triple-A Lehigh Valley, Nola has gone 3-0 with a 2.43 ERA in five starts.

Many expect Nola to make his way to the Majors within the next month or so, which is a definite possibility with the Phillies on pace for the worst season in their history.

In the meantime, with the big club struggling so much, it is nice for the organization to at least have a few bright spots in the farm system.

For who? My teammates. For what? To win.
