Cliff Lee looked solid on Friday afternoon, as he threw six innings while allowing just two runs. Lee kept the Red Sox scoreless through the first five innings before surrendering two runs in the sixth, as the Phillies and Red Sox tied, 2-2.

Jonathan Papelbon, Antonio Bastardo, Jake Diekman and Mike Nesseth followed Lee with a scoreless inning of work each, as the Phillies pitchers held the Red Sox to just four hits in the game.

The Phillies scored two runs in the eighth to tie the game, as Tony Gwynn Jr. homered and Clete Thomas singled home Jimmy Rollins.

The Phillies will next visit the Pirates on Saturday afternoon, as A.J. Burnett gets the start.
