Some moves were likely for the bullpen following back-to-back 14-inning games against the Mets, but those moves were guaranteed when Jeff Manship pulled up lame attempting to leg out an infield hit on Saturday night.
Manship strained his right quad on the play in the bottom of the 13th and as a result has landed on the 15-day disabled list.
In addition, Darin Ruf was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley after going just 1-for-10 at the plate with the Phillies since returning from injury.

In place of Manship and Ruf, the Phillies recalled Phillippe Aumont and selected the contract of Cesar Jimenez. Aumont has compiled a 4.12 ERA in the minors this season, while Jimenez posted a 1.67 ERA in 19 games with the Iron Pigs.
