David Buchanan was able to string together another solid outing on Sunday, as the rookie starter tossed 6 1/3 innings, allowing just one run.
Unfortunately for Buchanan and the Phillies, the solid outing would come on one of the few days this season where closer Jonathan Papelbon has been roughed up. Papelbon entered the ninth with a three-run lead, but quickly saw that lead disappear, as he allowed four runs to blow the save and take the loss as the Phillies fell 5-4 to the Marlins.

Papelbon, who entered the ninth with a 1.56 ERA on the season, would struggle with his control in the outing, as the Marlins rallied.
"For me, I was just catching too much of the plate today and wasn't as sharp as I have been here for most of the year," Papelbon said. "It was just one of those days I didn't have much on the baseball today, much control."
After allowing the first three batters in the ninth to get aboard and load the bases, Papelbon got Jordany Valdespin to ground out for the first out of the inning as a Marlins run came home.
That out would be followed with consecutive singles by the Marlins, however, as two more runs crossed the plate to tie the game at 4-4.
The outing would only get rougher for Papelbon, as a wild pitch in the next at-bat allowed the Marlins to score the go-ahead run and boos rained down from Citizens Bank Park.
After the horrific inning finally came to an end, Papelbon responded to the boos from the fans, appearing to grab his crotch as he exited the field. Papelbon would be ejected for his actions.
The Phillies would start off the bottom of the ninth with a walk and a single, but the next three batters would be retired on strikes, as they fell to the Marlins 5-4.
Let the record show, it only took 149 games this season for a Phillies player to grab his crotch at the fans, which is presumably a new record.
