After more than an hour delay due to rain, the Phillies and Rockies game got underway in front of a scarce crowd at Citizens Bank Park.
The Phillies would eventually fall to the Rockies 6-2, but there would be at least one silver lining. Ben Revere hit his first career home run. I'm not kidding, he actually did.

The Rockies would take the lead in the fourth, but Darin Ruf would knot the game at 1-1with a solo home run in the bottom of the frame. Colorado would break out in the seventh, as Wilin Rosario smacked a three-run home run.
Revere would homer in the bottom of the seventh to pull the Phillies within 4-2, but the Rockies would respond with two more runs in the eighth on their way to a 6-2 victory.
While the loss sucks, at least Revere's home run provided some (comical) entertainment. The center fielder needed 1,466 at-bats in the big leagues to put one over the fence.
The Phillies will close out their series with the Rockies on Wednesday night, as Roberto Hernandez takes the hill.
