The Phillies have announced their Opening Day roster, which will include 12 pitchers and five men on the bench, with perhaps the only surprise being the inclusion of left-handed pitcher Mario Hollands.
The 25-year-old did have a solid spring however, compiling a 3.09 ERA with a 1.29 WHIP in 11.2 innings pitched.

Here is your Phillies roster for Opening Day on Monday:
Right-Handed Pitchers: A.J. Burnett, Justin De Fratus, Roberto Hernandez, Kyle Kendrick, Brad Lincoln, Jeff Manship, Jonathan Papelbon and B.J. Rosenberg.
Left-Handed Pitchers: Antonio Bastardo, Jake Diekman, Mario Hollands and Cliff Lee.
Infielders: Cody Asche, Cesar Hernandez, Ryan Howard, Jayson Nix, Jimmy Rollins and Chase Utley.
Outfielders: Domonic Brown, Marlon Byrd, Tony Gwynn Jr., John Mayberry Jr. and Ben Revere.
Catchers: Wil Nieves and Carlos Ruiz.
Opening the season on the DL are Mike Adams, Freddy Galvis, Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez, Cole Hamels, Ethan Martin and Darin Ruf.
The lineup is old and put up terrible numbers in the spring. Will that change once the games count? Maybe, but I don't expect it to get much better. Once Ruf is off the DL the Phillies will have to decide if they want to add him to the active roster, trading defense for offense.
The pitching should be solid, especially upon the return of Hamels, which could be by the end of April.
Overall, there isn't too much to be excited about on this roster.
