Jimmy Rollins smacked a three-run home run in the third inning, as the Phillies erupted for eight runs in the inning in a 10-6 win over the Tigers this afternoon.
Kyle Kendrick made the start for the Phillies, giving up a three-run double in the first inning before settling in a bit, as he pitched two innings. Luis Garcia gave up the other three runs to the Tigers in the sixth, although only one of the runs was earned.

On the offensive side of things, the Phillies collected just six hits in the game, but turned them into 10 runs thanks to five walks and two Tiger errors.
The Phillies will now head to Tampa as they face the Yankees tomorrow afternoon. It will be the first appearance for Miguel Alfredo Gonzalez, the Cuban defector the Phillies signed to a three-year, $12 million deal last year.
It will be the first real glimpse of Gonzalez, who has done absolutely nothing to impress in spring training thus far.
