On Tuesday, Ruben Amaro Jr. made sure to endear himself to Phillies fans even more than he already has in his years as general manager.
In a story published on CSNPhilly.com, Amaro when prompted about the Phillies Double-A pitching and whether he would answer fans' calls to bring up some young talent responded in a manner that didn't exactly sit well with the City of Brotherly Love.
I'm no genius (though I play one on the Internet), but you would think Amaro would know better by now. Amaro is after all, a Philadelphia native. He's been around the block once or twice.
A word of advice, Ruben, if you don't have anything nice, don't say anything at all.
