On Sunday, William Burck an attorney at Quinn Emanuel who represents Howard and Zimmerman, called the report "inexcusable and irresponsible," and threatened to go "to court to hold Al Jazeera and other responsible parties accountable for smearing our clients' good names."
The man who implicated Howard and others in the report, Charlie Sly, recanted his claims on Saturday after the story was released.
