For the third night in a row the Phillies won on a walk off, showing fight they haven't all year. The Phillies topped the D-backs by a score of 4 to 3 in the end.
Cole Hamels made the start for the Phightins. Hamels tossed seven innings, allowing three earned runs and striking out four. B.J. Rosenberg tossed a perfect eighth before Jonathan Paplebon tossed a scoreless ninth, which ended in him picking up the win on a walk off.
The Phillies took an early lead on a Darin Ruf solo homer in the second, but it wouldn't last long. After falling behind 3 to 1, the Phillies tied things up in the sixth on a Carlos Ruiz double that scored two runs. The Phillies walked things off in the ninth on a Chase Utley bases loaded walk.
Seriously, this is getting ridiculous. The Phillies will send Ethan Martin to the mound tomorrow.
