The 76ers traveled to Orlando to face the Magic Wednesday night in the first matchup between rookie sensations Michael Carter-Williams and Victor Oladipo. Coming into the contest, MCW was first in points, assists, and steals per game among rookies while Oladipo was second in each category. The Magic would come out VICTORious (get it? Oladipo? I should write for the Magic...) 105-94, as the Sixers lose their second in a row, and six of their last seven.

The Sixers visited Indianapolis Saturday night looking to hand the Pacers just their second loss of the season. Despite dressing just nine players, the Sixers were a handful for the powerful Pacers. Without the teams second-leading scorer, Spencer Hawes, as well as Thad Young and Tony Wroten, the Sixers looked to be no match on paper for Indianapolis. Well, that’s why they play the games. The Sixers continued to entertain in a season with little expectations, falling in the end 106-98.
The Sixers faced off against the Milwaukee Bucks Friday night, hoping to end their four game losing streak. If there was any game to end it, it was this one. The struggling, injury plagued Bucks came into the game 2-8, without Brandon Knight and Larry Sanders and the Sixers were able to take advantage. It took a period of overtime to get the win, but the Sixers came out victorious at home, 115-107.
Michael Carter-Williams returned to the court for the first time in four games as the Sixers welcomed Toronto to the Wells Fargo Center. The return of MCW to the Sixers roster would not be enough however, as Philadelphia fell by a final score of 108-98.
The 76ers arrived in Dallas hoping to avoid their first 3-game losing streak of the season. The Mavericks came into this contest unbeaten at home in the American Airlines Center and the Sixers have not won in Dallas since 2005. On top of that, Carter-Williams, the rookie sensation, was ruled out for the fourth straight game. It seemed that everything was against Philadelphia coming into the game and it certainty showed in their shooting. The Sixers would lose their lead and the game in second half, losing a close one to the Mavericks, 97-94.
The 76ers continued their road trip in New Orleans Saturday night looking to bounce back from a loss to the Hawks only the night before. Philadelphia was outplayed for the majority of the game as Pelicans could not miss a shot on offense and threw a block party defense. The Sixers were embarrassed, losing 135-98.
The Sixers traveled to Atlanta to face off against the Hawks Friday night. Coming off a big win in OT against Houston, the Sixers hoped to string two in a row. Philadelphia would be without Carter-Williams for the second straight game. The Sixers fell to Atlanta 113-103.
There were some last minute lineup changes before the Sixers and Rockets tipped off at the Wells Fargo Center. Michael Carter-Williams was ruled out for the game with a left foot bruise and is day to day going forward. Tony Wroten would start in his place. Houston's superstar, James Harden, would also sit out with a foot issue. This would be the Sixers second game in a row where their opposition was missing their best player (they fell to the Duncan-less Spurs only a few days early). The Sixers would take advantage this time around and prevail in overtime after a thrilling 4th quarter comeback.
The Sixers welcomed the San Antonio Spurs into the Wells Fargo Center Monday night looking for another statement win against the reigning Western Conference champs. It would be Brett Brown's first matchup against his mentor, Gregg Popovich. The 76ers came off a close loss in double overtime against Cleveland as the Spurs came off a blowout win against the Knicks only the day before. After two solid team performances in their last two games, the Sixers came out in their true tanking form as they were decisively beat by the Spurs.
The 76ers went on the road Saturday night for the second game of a back-to-back with the Cavaliers (2-4). The Sixers came out with the win the night before (94-79) with solid performances from each of the starters. Its always tough to beat a team twice in a row and this game was a nailbiter. The Sixers would fall in double-overtime.
