A three team trade was completed on Friday night, that added another second round pick to the Sixers growing collection. The 76ers acquired Houston's 2015 second rounder, as well as veteran center Ronny Turiaf and the rights to Sergei Lishouk, in return for sending Alexey Shved to the Rockets. The trade was centered around the Timberwolves swapping Corey Brewer for Troy Daniels from Houston.
The 76ers now hold 6 picks in the 2015 draft (if protections work out) and 21 picks for the nexyt 5 years through the 2020 draft. But we all know Hinkie won't rest until he has the entire second round in his grasp.

Turiaf could miss the rest of the season after undergoing hip surgery and is not a part of Hinkie's future plans. Acquiring the 31-year-old was simply another way for the Sixers to get their hands on another pick. Lishouk was drafted by Memphis in 2004 and has had his rights traded 4 times and currently plays in Spain. The 32-year-old Ukrainian center/forward is also unlikely to be a part of Hinkie's long term plans.
Shved's stint with Philadelphia was very short lived as they only acquired the guard during the offseason as part of the trade that sent Thad Young to Minnesota. While battling injuries throughout the season, Shved averaged 9.9 points and 2.7 assists in 17 games for the Sixers.
