The Sixers added their 5th win on the road on Friday with a last second victory against the Nets. They trailed by as much as 13 in the second half but another solid 4th quarter performance snapped their losing streak at 4 straight against Brooklyn.
A dominant dunk from Nerlens Noel off a beautiful drive and assist from Carter-Williams with only 3.2 seconds remaining put the Sixers up for good, 90-88.

After allowing 32 first quarter points, the Sixers defense rallied, allowing only 14 points in the second period. The Sixers went into the half only down by 1 point, 46-45. Covington hit a free throw to tie it up on 16 seconds into the third quarter, but Brooklyn would answer with 10 unanswered points. A shot from Bogdanovic put the Nets up 68-55 with 2 minute left in the 3rd.
Philly would slowly but surely make their comeback and a three point play from Wroten would finally put the Sixers ahead with 2:41 left in the game for the first time since the first quarter. With only 25 seconds remaining, Brook Lopez would knot it up at 88 on a shot from the elbow.
After milking the clock, MCW penetrated and as the defenders swarmed him, he dumped the ball to Noel who dunked with authority. Lopez would miss a shot at the buzzer, giving the 76ers their 6th win on the season.
Covington led the Sixers with 20 points and 6 steals. Mbah a Moute added 16 points and 3 steals of his own. MCW continued to struggle with his shot finishing with 8 points, but also contributed 7 boards and 8 assists. Noel looked confident and continued his good play of late, as he scored 12 points and grabbed 5 boards and 2 blocks.
The Sixers play the Pacers (15-23) on Saturday.
